Projectors on Gen2 Lib.

Post by AlpineRaven » Mon Mar 31, 2008 7:45 pm

I am thinking about upgrading my headlights to Projectors from JDM Legacy RHD (Right hand side) what are your inputs about them before I should or should not buy them?

I'm also planning to install HIDs in the projectors section but not right away.

Main reason I'm interested on the Projectors because of twin lights at full beam mode, specially night time country driving, not really keen on external lights.

Thanks

I have got projectors on our car and had them on the now "goldfish". They look better than they work. They are an upgrade but not a huge difference. HID's are what they need.

What you mean "Goldfish"?

In your opinion for high beams can I use 100watts if I use relay and heavy gauge wires? I rarely stationary while full beam is on.. (I'm already planning to re-wire whole system with relays to relieve wires behind the dash)

Cheers

i think you should do it. Projectors will always throw a better light than the standard reflectors. And some 6000k HID's and youll be laughing.

whether or not the are worth the $3-400 for the pair is another question.

Vidler's new car. My old car.

They already have a pretty good wiring system. The HID would be the best way to go obviously but 100w would be a start.
