Subaruing along..

Post by Goon » Tue Jun 17, 2008 7:25 pm

G'day to everyone again!

First up a very BIG THANK YOU forthe birthday message from all, did spend the day moving house and completely forgot the big day, but my wonderful family surprised me with a good feed and a dry place to sleep for the night.

Having settled in to our new digs, and adjusting to longer travels to work and home, the ol' wagon has began to get angrier than usual. Thus far I've gone back and regreased the rear bearings, checked and adjusted brakes, had to patch up the exhaust as our new neighbours just love to frown when i crank her over at 3:30 am(!hehehehe!), and last night the front wheel bearings, cv's and prolly the driveline centre bearing and tailshafts near sent me off the highway and into a whole world of pain, suffering and expletives.

Guess who's going to be a busy little boy this weekend?!!

Having said that, anyone living near Caboolture have any recommendations for suppliers of cv's-bearings-spares? ( i have found a place to fix the exhaust, but i'm in denial of the noisiest neighbour label!!)
Any reccommendations or advice will be greatly appreciated, will return the favour when i can afford a good lawn mower!!!!

p.s. obviously the mower will come after the wagon!!!!!!!!!!lol

Aww, never mind, going back to Brissie to get all this sorted, Wynnum bearings supplied sealed type for $70/both sets, front cv's removed/replaced for $220, sun spares reckon there's a centre bearing laying roud somewhere and me bruvver is going to stickweld the soot pipe for me.
