That sounds like a good deal mate. How long before she goes to the wreckers? I've got a list a mile long of things to do to the Zook before Fraser but if need be I can probably make it up there this weekend.

Take the subie to fraser. It'll be much more comfortable ;)

Wish I was closer - I'd like the central locking, power windows and mirrors, plus the entire wiring loom for an EJ swap later down the track...

Ah well, something will come my way eventually...

Cheers

PS - what is the Zook? the new subi or another beast?

Yeah a Sierra. It's got a 2in lift, 29in BFG muddies, ARB bar, spotties, HD clutch, dual batteries, homemade drawers, racks etc. And as of tonight two new wheel cylinders and it brakes properly again!

I was seriously considering it tonight after the third time that the piston popped out of the driver's side wheel cylinder. Cracked the s***s and launched the 10mm spanner 50m down the road and started wondering if the Suby would be a better option. But I'm very stubborn and the thought of the 2k I've pumped into the Sierra getting it ready over the past 8 weeks makes me want to take it!

Though the leaking rear main and front diff pinion seals may end up deciding for me...

I'll be sending the old beast out for recycling in the next coupla weeks, the other half's starting to make noises about it just sitting there.
If you can make it this weekend, that's fine.

Sweet deal, I'll borrow the work ute and trailer and be up!

Haha, I live in an apartment and have a single car garage. NFI where I'll put it but I'll make room, the other two will have to live out on the street for a while :)
