camber needs to be there...swing axle ....directly linked to gearbox....and im not upgrading to a CV setup yet....rather expensive and time consuming conversion

That is sweet!, im thinking about making something similar but im jsut waiting on getting a Kombi engine from a family member, then i know i can definatly get the running gear off an old kombi (the engine is rooted). Can i possibly get some high res photos of the frame that you made? i am thinking of doing something very similar but instead of using round pipe im thinking of using something like box section, can i please get a few photos and dimensions to go with the frame?

Thanks so much!

Here at home ive got all the tools for the job, welder cut off saw that can do up to a 45 degree angle, and everything else i need. My oldman has got experience working with older cars, unlike me! but this has got me really interested! Is this in perth?

Well it looks impressive. My uncle is hopefully going to be able to get me a VW engine for the one i wish to make, but the whole thing kind of hinges on this! Dont suppose you know anyone with a aircooled VW motor that theyd be willing to part with?
