so call me odd then, and next time all you knockers find youself parked in a tight spot - and cannot open your door out sideways - you'll be thinking of Corax in his endeavours to be different and practical as long as we have good head room :)

I thought about the gull wind door too, would look kinda cool until you got stuck in a shopping centre carpark not being able to fully open the subi's gullwings to get out of the vehicle...

Totally agree! And I reckon this is what his mate was thinking too - "not my car but this would be funny"

Amen to that but no, the powers that be have spoken and ultimately I do agree that it wouldnt be a good idea. Especially when you take into account it is blatantly obvious that I wouldnt live long enough to finish the project given some of the responses that this thread has got!
Jules, do you know where Paul is? I thought he would at least have threatened me with violence by now.

Yes violence and lots of it...

I'm pretty sure "Dr Urabus" is still being a pirate in the north of Western Australia. As today is Thursday he will probably at some point hand over his 3 point hat and climb into a helicopter to head back to the mainland.

Then spend 4 weeks operating on his cars and others (none of mine this time I don't think:) )
