Herbie fully loaded - sad I know. In the first coulpe of scenes in the movie where LL is choosing her car, you see a subaru XT6 get crushed. I imediately thought "bastards - I could use some parts off that"...
Anyway - anyone else noted a subaru in a flick that we don't get to see often?
The Tom hanks movie "BIG" ocmes to mind too, it as a subaru Vortex or XT4 at the end of it, look real schmik...
Cheers

When you get paid fortnightly and its not til next week that you're paid next, there's not much else to do - unless work calls up...
I'd go 4wd'n but need the fuel for other things atm

and i've just put a new set of roadies on the front - I don't wanna do what I did in heathcote last year...
I haven't seen any other movies today with any subaru's in it. In underbelly there's a good "old school" WRX in the early episodes. Its got me hooked.
Cheers

haha Hot Fuzz...best movie ever
I'm on a really dodgy connection thru my mobile phone in Mt Isa at the moment so I can't load that entire list....but I remember there was a pretty sweet (would have probably been brand new) L series wagon in one of the Bill & Ted movies - was behind them when they were doing something with a phone box and an old man, or something.
What I'd love to spot is a totally modified lifted offroader Subaru in a movie or TV show

There is a "Loyale" aka L Series on the ferry in "The Ring". I think there is a Forester driven around as well

Hot Fuzz, how could i have forgotten that. Still my favourite movie to date.
Another one is "not another teen movie" has a red forester in a scene with the young fellas outside the party

"You only live twice" - not a bad choice considering it is the Mayans end of the world sometime soon. I was watching for the Toyota 2000GT as featured in the Top Gear Bond Cars Special and there on the road early on was I swear a little Su'baru 360 complete with its headlight eyelids and very prominent bonnet emblem
