Twin Turbo for Bruce

Post by bruce » Mon Sep 08, 2008 1:32 pm

I am in need of help to convince my father (BYB01) to put the twin turbo motor we have here into my car.

So can you all please help me out in encouraging him?
I might even organise a day of it, for those of you who are keen to help him put it in =) haha.

It was, but then he ran out of time while I didn't have my licence and so it never got done and now it's 'too fast' for me ... so I'm trying to convince him that it's not.

The charm no longer works, he sees right through that now. I am not the cute little kid anymore, I think it's turned into not so cute and not so teenage daughter now.

If I use that threat that will mean I will have to go through with it. I can't move out of home, too much to do for myself.
Plus, if I moved out Mum wouldn't forgive him because she would miss me too much.

this is working for me so far ;)

start doing the swap yourself and then get stuck on purpose- "dad how do you do the next part?" then get stuck again" and this part", eventually he will end up doing it all for you.

i didnt pick up on it before but why does dad's little girl have the name bruce?

I am named Bruce because of finding Nemo -- the big shark, 'Hello, my name is Bruce'. It kinda just stuck.

Byron, you are not helping the situation =(

I even threw in the ... you can put a lift kit in my car while you are changing the motor if you like.

But I must say, my car is booked in every weekend from the 11th October until 5th November to have my motor put in. YAY, thanks for the convincing guys (and mum).
