I am thinking of selling my L series. Just not sure what price to put on it. I hate to part with it but with the third kid on the way I will get rather small rather quick. Its a 89 L series touring wagon with 3" High Rise Kit running on 195r14 maxis 753 muddies two will need replacing soon. Its a MPFI engine that has only done 210K's I have done new head gaskets both sides, rear main seal, new timing belts all front seals, water pump and oil pump rebuilds. It has full roof rack with snorkel. rear cargo barrier, bull bar, and rear metal bar. The interior is in fairly good nick. Was original auto but has been changed to manual. Comes with spare touring wagon front seats, two spare carby motors, the original auto box with tail shaft and diff, and a large pile of other suby bits and pieces. There is no rust in the body at all.
I was thinking around $2500 is this too much or not? I am in vic so its pretty much one of a kind.
Cheers Kris

i reckon you could probly get a bit more than 2500 but may have to wait till the right person comes along an spots it. but 2500 sound decent.

I have two young boys and a daughter on the way and they all love the bush and 4wding and the L series back seat is not big enough let alone jamming all the gear in for a weekend away. plus my driving styling will kill the l series way to quick ask El freddo hes seen what I am like.

I am thinking I might go over to the dark side and buy a rangie after seeing how well El freddos mate benji went with the rangie on the weekend I fell in love it was a machine and plenty of room for the ankle biters and all the junk the handbrake likes to drag along.

Hehehe... I'm having enough fun with Ruby Scoo and Uni at the moment, that and as usual the uni budget doesn't allow...

AP - awesome weekend! We played in the puddle for a bit, got footage of that, will take time to get the vids off the tape onto computer - hopefully the write up this week inbetween assignments...

Kris, getting rid of it so soon?! Benji's Rangie is a sweet unit - and he takes it everywhere now that he's got his BFG's rather than roadies like me...

Well, good luck on the sale.

Cheers
