I've just picked up a 89 L series touring wagon 5 speed and just wanted to know what rev's it should be pulling at 100 k's, it has the standard 13's. This one was pulling about 3200 rpm where as my brumby with the 5speed 2wd box only puls 2400rpm. Forgot to say it is the injected version. mind you i can't complain about the ecconomy as the last fill i did 440 k's for only 34l of 95 octain
Cheers

My MY did about 2900 @ 100km/h, 3000 @ 110km/h with a 3.9 ratio L 5 speed, I'm now running an RX 3.7 5 speed, it only shaved a couple of hundred revs of those.

My tourer with 3.7 ratio 3 speed auto did 3400 @ 100km/h.

I have no idea about the 2wd boxes but 2400 doesn't sound right.

Jordan.
