Liberty Nudge bars

I've been after 1 since I got my lib.
I've seen a few around (bolted to other libs), and just wanted to know where/how people got ahold of them, I went to Subaru, and they said they don't do genuine and they were all most likely from 'Suba extreme'.
I guess this could be a plausible explanation, but all the nudge bars seem to be just on standard (straight from the factory) libs. So it seems weird so any people have gone out and found a suba extreme bar to bolt onto their factory lib!? The ones I'm talking about are the upside down U bars.

But today at my local wreckers I saw a different kind of bar, one that just has two horizontal bars that run along the bottom of the head lights, I imagine and the bars are spaced about 6"s apart. Just wondering if anyone knows of this type, where it would be from etc...

Anyhoo, I might ask them for a price tomorrow and see what they say, can anyone suggest a price I should pay for it?

Only thing i can tell you that Liberty Ski FX had them from factory but they were fitted poorly - they would be attached on the tow hooks with large bolts - very dodgy but that how they were, my wagon had it but I took it off as I didnt really like it...

Alpine Raven - What kind did it have, have any pics?

Chubby - Same here mate, if I can't find one (or the wreckers ask too much for this one I've found) a mate is going to help me with making one..

Ski FX - there was 2 different models -
1996 Ski FX was standard GX with mags, roof ranks & nudge bar also stickers.
1997 Ski FX was standard GX with mags (same as 96), roof ranks, nudge bar, sunroof & also stickers.

right fellas,

you want the best looking front end you can get then the nudge bars the way to go.

Mounted on a 1992 Liberty S1 G2 RS wagon.

I had mine made up at SubaExtreme, by Jodi when it was located up on the sunny coast of QLD.

It cost me from memory $440 plus $50 delivery.

I ran a set of IPF spotlights on it and it really set the car apart.

SubaExtreme is now located in Goulburn in NSW and the company still make that nudge bar. If you are tight on cash i would holdout until you can get one made professinally that looks good.

Yes SubaXtreme do make nudge bar for the Ser1/2 there about $650 + P&H.

chubby37 - I have been so busy with the birth of my bub & trying to finish my car I have ran out of time. It is still on the 'To Do' list......

SUBIIE,
the guy that we were thinking of getting to make up some nuge bars is JP, he is the other harf of the old SubaExtreme, Jodi was the front man, JP was the man behind the sine.

John Petersen or JP was the man who MADE the stuff and was making stuff for Subys long befor Jodi and SubyExtreme got together and still has his own fabrication busines and dose a lot with QR (Queensland Rail).

If john dose not know how to make a nuge bar for a suby then its a sad sad day for all suby lovers everywere.
