Anyone want to lend me a brumby??

Post by SuBaRiNo » Tue Oct 11, 2005 9:01 pm

Damn i knew i would need a brumby for something... having issues trying to find a way to get the new engine back to my house. The house where it is located only has a chain on the shed roof to lift the engine straight into something.

Anyone want to lend me there Brumby??

Dave

Hey Dave, I hire a 7x5 trailer to do rubbish runs every few months for two hours and it costs me about $35, a smaller trailer is obviously cheaper, easy too, pull up, fill out a form and its yours for the time :)

I can do it tomorrow night with my trailer. We should be able to just lift the engine between the three of us (im sure the seller can lend a hand). Otherwise I can bring my engine hoist with me in the trailer.

Thats ok Spence... i dont'e expect anyone to help... just thought i would ask.

I have a trailor but it has a great big box thingo on it.
The guy has a hoist thingo attached to the roof of his shed. What i need is a trailor and car and someone with the ability to reverse the trailor.

That sounds great Andrew... If we could do it before the weekend it would be better but if your available tomorrow night then maybe we can sort something out. I will talk to you on MSN tonight about it.

Plan B is the Jaffa... i just haven't asked him yet. On that note.... i will be needing some helping hands this weekend i think. Anyone that wants to help that would be great... i will be doing the swap in Karrinyup on Saturday and Sunday... im also hoping to get some of the oil seals and timing belt replaced but thats another favour i have to call in.
