As I understand it the JDM delivered vehicles are the collectors items, or am I wrong?

TOONGA
No Australian delivered means that they are built overseas to Australian regulations and imported and complianced by, in this case, Subaru Australia. This is why the build date is around 6 months earlier than the compliance date on the rego papers.

Australian made means it was assembled here, regardless of where the parts come from.

JDM import is a Subaru that was built in Japan for Japan roads and then privately imported to Australia.

An Australian delivered Subaru, like an RS for example will have a VIN number that starts with JF1BC5, if its an import, it wont have the JF1 at the start of the VIN

Subaru Liberty with that funky 2L EJ with the four inlet manifold runners in Sale, Vic

Replacement engine or grey import? Seems a bit weird to be a grey import on a stock vehicle - and I didn't think the standard ECU would run this engine, but I could be wrong here.

Cheers

nope we just destroy more of them than the east coast :)

I had six MY wagons at one point, only 2 of them ran but I never needed parts for either of them :)

They came up for sale a few months back, all in the same listing for about the same price, looks like they were too pricey back then too :)

I'd say it's already been sold. A great unit from what I've seen of it during the times I've been in Robe. Love the colour too!

Cheers
