That looks like some interesting stuff there. The way I understand it though is that some aspects of what they do to aircraft ea81 would be completely wrong for a road car. Things like camshaft would be no good.

As long as it suits a 5MT then yes. GC8 should be 5MT but i'd want to double check.

genuine timing kit for 99 onwards subarus, no water pump, but for 420 dollars Im pretty sure you could have some change to get the pump :)

Sorry to say but I'd be suss on this for a complete belt kit & water pump installed.

Nachaluva, I'm looking into a kit for you, if you've got a part number that'll make it easier too.

I had a cambelt kit minus water pump sent from the US for a little more than half of the cheapest kit I could get on ebay over here - and it's still going strong a few years later!

didnt get the water pump at the same time. just the timing belt kit

What should I expect for t-belt, idlers & tensioner plus water pump? I did have a small oil leak coming from the passenger side t-belt cover which has since stopped, so may have to do the cam seals as well...
