Another good find. I can identify with the red with H mags. The first sedan is the funny colour of the wagon I pulled apart, so same colours for all markets I suppose.

There are a few webpages out and about where you can submit the youtube link for the video and it will download the flash video to your desktop. You just need a media player that can play flash files. Use VLC, it's free, small to download and it's by far the best all round media player in the world. The idea of anyone still using windows media player when VLC is available is insane

It is interesting to see the Americans pronounce Subaru same as we do, yet our neighbours in NZ pronounce it the same as the Japanes Su [as in submarine] Baru.
Was reminded that along time ago in Oz there was an ad Suba Who? To rhyme with Subaru as we say it here

inexpensive my arse!! my clutch kit is near $300 mates rates!!!

I paid $210 trade price at my local Auto parts place for a whole Brumby clutch kit... That's cheap compared to most cars kits prices

two things
On Subaru being inexpensive - the claim was made in 1984 in the US, not here in Australia. In 1986 the RX was $20k and Vortex $22k, sure that was plus on-roads, dealer delivery etc
Brumbys can have either the cheapy clutch or the dearer one shared by L Series

thank god I don't have a dual mass flywheel/clutch such as the one fitted to ej25 liberty.... I can't remember the exact bill (I replaced the clutch/flywheel that was slipping/faulty with an aftermarket conventional flywheel and clutch kit) and it was not pretty....
