Hi,
Does anyone have (or can tell me where to get) a set of plastic fuel injector holders for an EA81T ? 3 of mine are cracked.
Thanks,
Steve

Can you post some pics or a link to them ?
Subaru used many same/similar components to Nissan in the 80's so it's just possible that EA81 injectors used the same insulators/injector mounts .
I gather that they are a hose tail style injector ?
Cheers A .

81t and 82t use the same injectors so may be easier to find some from an 82t

There USED to be an engine sitting at Atlas Auto Spares I bought it a couple of months back and should be starting to strip it and rebuild it soon. I am also interested in finding the above mentioned mounts as one of them is broken on this engine as well.

Ive just checked my supplies and I'm pretty sure that you will have to buy them individually as i cant find any in the engine rebuild kits.

Does that mean that you can get rebuild kits for the ea81t here in Australia? The only ones I have been able to find have been in the US.

$250 without any warranty as he was not sure what condition it was in. It seemed to turn over all right and since I was planning on rebuilding it anyway I figured it should be ok.

Im not sure on the availability of engine gasket kits in Aus now as Ive been out of the industry for a while but I've got a small collection of used genuine gasket kits at home that I have kept from warranty jobs and various other jobs . Usually because it can be very expensive to by single gaskets from Japan and a lot are obsolete now which is a shame and Subaru can be bad for it , I've had cars that have been only 10 years old and they have made some of the parts obsolete and I've had to ask around in other mechs tool boxes for things.

I can't even get a kit geniune. I have spoken to the local subaru dealer and they don't supply any parts for imported cars. Is this a standard thing for all subaru dealerships in Australia?
