Air Con Gas capacity?

I recently had air con components fitted to my EA 81 Powered MY Brumby. On the way home the old man observed that it blew a seal and sprayed R34a all over my engine bay. It seemed that was over filled.

Does any body out there know the maximum amount?

The air conditioning Mechanic/experts should have a guide/book of the capacity of the system to include mix ratio.

wouldn't be more than a few 100 grams, shouldn't have been overcharged in the first place if it was done properly
