L series wagon internal dimensions

Post by smiles » Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:42 am

Does anyone know what the internal measurements are for an L series wagon? I want to know if I could fit my windsurf boards in without having to fold the front seat down.

My other option would be to mod the rear window of my Brumby so the gear can poke into the cab- anyone done this? At least that way I can lock it inside, but if it fits easily into a wagon I might have to consider a trade.

Thanks!

I could get my bombora board in diagonally from behind the front passengers seat to the rear right hand corner, on its edge, with no problem. I did have to move the front passengers seat forward a couple of notches though.

That was a 2.7 meter board.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised, unless you have some enourmous board from the eighties!!!! LOL

Gee that's good to hear. My 264 should have no trouble fitting in then. The problem is- I am really attached to my Brumby so I have a dilemma: Get rid of the back window or get a wagon.

Yeah- but I'd like to be able to lock it all inside. Up until now I have had all the gear poking out the back (I have a canopy on the Brumby). Not sure if I should change the back window- it might devalue the car, being not original.
