This site is by aviation gurus for aviation gurus, but find the plane titled "KEN THOMAS'S KR2S" and check out the motor they're using...
yep the trusty old EA82!! :mrgreen:

I know a lot of people don't like these engines, either favoring the ej's or ea81's, BUT you have to admit that its pretty cool anyway. imagine the sound it'd make tearing down the runway!
Red 1990 L series sportswagon: sports muffler, 4" lift, pod filter, powersteer conversion, pug 14's and a coupla stickers. with 27"s on their way. Everything else? Standard. For now....

There was a mob doing a four valve twin overhead cam per bank conversion for airborn NA EA82's , I think it cranked out about 140 Hp in NA form .

It's fairly common, using EA engines for bugsmashers. I think Jabiru used to (or still do) offer a converted EA81 for their little thing, along side proper aircraft engines.

Imagine the performance with a turbo EJ25 haha

trusty. they do take abuse and stay reliable. they are subarus crappest engines. illd have anything but for aircraft. fkthat

And thalass, if there was an ej25t aircraft, it'd have to be a fighter jet!:-D
