Can anyone advise on the resale of a manual Forester (mid range spec and not turbo) vs a self stirrer. Personal preference is a manual.
Would be looking to sell on in 3-4 years.
Also, any idea when Subaru will be updating the Forester, will it get a diesel and any plans for a 6 speed 'box.
Cheers.

Just found out;
-Subaru will be updating the Forester to get a diesel and,
-Only comes with a 6 speed 'box.
Still don't know about the manual resale. Apparently we are lazy drivers but in the UK/Europe manuals are more popular.

The Auto's don't come with low range like the Manuals do, it's nothing to write home about, but a reduction is a reduction nonetheless and better than none.
I'm glad my 03 XS has the reduction, especially when towing and uphill on the highway.

Using the 05-06 xs as a guide it looks like manuals hold their value better than autos.
