Just purchased this today. Ill pick it up next weekend and trailer it home. Its an '86 gl, ea82t, 5 spd with sunroof and digital dash. Mechanical status unknown at this time. The body is straight with no rust, good paint and nice fabric interior. I think this car will get a 2" lift and the pug alloys I purchased off e-bay last year. Oh, and a spoiler to match Checkers and Andrew T's rides.
I think I need a bigger drive way

hehe, saw it and had to have it. It should clean up nicely, and it had not been pilfered for parts except tail light..but lense is in the trunk.
I paid 450.00, it will be interesting to see how much to get it on the road, a bit of a gamble.

Nice job.
Doesn't look like too much is missing.
If you happen to spot another steering wheel like that one, let me know, I'm in the market for one (or at least the centre bits) in black preferably.

It will need an alternator, and someone grabbed a tail light socket, lense and such is in the trunk, and front hubs. The yard is installing hubs and wheels and tires as part of the purchase price That is all that was disturbed on the whole car. Everything else is intact, just don't know the condition of stuff until I get it home. I'll keep my eyes open for another wheel.

Yep, all disc's, 5 spd pb and a non lsd 3.7 rear,...for now. The MY is a 4 door.

Spent a few minutes hooking up jumper cables to the 86, it cranks, digital dash seems to be working fine, tons of stuff to it including outside temp and I can change the speedo from mph to kph with the push of a button. Suprisingly the sunroof operates fine with no sign of leaking yet. Have to sort a few things out before I try to get it running and compression test it. No obvious reason for it being in a wrecking yard, overheated remains to be determined. Just might be a fun little car.
Cheers, Mark
