Car Stolen - Canberra

Post by LTurbo » Mon Mar 13, 2006 3:35 pm

My car has been stolen between 12-2pm from the ANU main paid parking area near sullivans creek.

She is a RX turbo (89 model) and the rego number is YAE-80B.I think there around three RX's in Canberra. So if you see a RX turbo its probably it.

She ain't worth a whole heap but I have put allot of time and effort into her and I want it back.
So those in the Canberra region please keep your eyes pealed. My mobile is 0402 343 742.

Regards
Thomas

Noooo!

Thomas, terrible news. I just rejoined the forum yesterday, and this is one of the first posts that I have read! (did you end up getting the manual conversion done?).

My mates will still remember what it looks like, i'll spread the word to keep a lookout for you. Let us know how it goes.

hi damo, good to hear from you.
Yeah got the manual conversion done, was working really well. I also have a whole bunch of intercooler stuff I was about to put in, I was just looking around for a decent scoop. :(

Thanks for the help and support guys

How'd the search go? I gather nothing showed up? Well that can be a good thing.

One of my cars was stolen a few years back now and it is a real prick of a thing to happen. I hope you have better luck finding yours than I did with mine.

Hi guys

The car MAY have been spotted.

A white RX turbo with white speedies was spotted at the Bindubi st and Belconnen way intersection outside canberra high. Was spotted around 12.30pm yesterday (monday, the same day it was stolen).

So if your north side in the belconnen area keep your eyes peeled.

Cheers
Thomas

I had a reasonably good look around yesterday evening, I went around the UC and CIT car parks, and around the belconnen shop/industrial kind of area. It's a big area to search, and they could have been going up belconnen way past belconnen.
