Need a quickish answer to this enquiry as the seller wont hold them. As the title would suggest, will 2002 Forrester wheels fit on a 1992 Liberty GX FWD?

SURE WILL!
If you use the forester tyres the speedo will be out as they are a bigger diameter than the liberty wheels

if they are air strut then nope, the tires will hit the strut... if their coil, I doubt it, 16" rims are pretty big... what size tires did you want to run?

Tyres are 215 X 60 and they come with the rims

Forester and Outback are usually +48 offset whereas Liberty and Impreza ones are +55. You will widen the track some if you bolt them on.

My RS liberty has 235/45x17 tyres on WRX rims and they 'nearly' don't touch a stock strut or the guard.

they will fit, although you may get some rubbing of the tyres on the body. why do you want to run taller tyres on a FWD car?

AWD / FWD front struts are the same and will clear 26" tyres no problem.

FWD rear struts have more clearance than AWD ones... so you are sweet there too.

no airbags in FWD cars.
