nice find do you think if enough people from around Australia emailed this to the marketing division of Subaru Japan they would take it seriously enough to start making a brumby again

thats identical to mine ,,i noticed same wheels too ,,,so i was wrong thinking ag's had sunraiser style wheels ,,,

Would be nice to see the Brumby back in production (in modern styling) I'm thinking the Baja would have done well in Aus but more so if it was just a 2 door.

All the Ag-Quips that I have seen had the 13inch white wheels

OK, just how big a screen do you have to read that. In the world of optometry , reading distance is classed as 330mm, precisely the distance I needed to hold eyes from soft screen of 17" to read. Good story on a great little ute. Though the author should have learned a little faster not to use his 3/4" rattle gun on every nut and bolt, harsh words on the bolts!

Umm.. is it too big? as it comes out quiet nicely on my screen (10" Netbook) but I can resize it if so?

No way i will be able to read it but seeing the warning lights on his dash is making me wonder if most of mine are broken. Only lights I get are the PB and high beams.

That looks like a US-spec 1982 chrome plated rear bumper to me rather than the alloy step bumper on the Ag-Quip's I've seen. Can anyone here confirm the Ag-Quip's had the factory chrome bumpers as per the photos in the article ?

well spotted. wonder if it was made up from a rear sedan bumper. always seen just matte black bumper as part of the rear step bars. closer look next time i reckon

Nice find ,great read ,I loved the brumby ever since i was a lad and now i'm possibly to late to own one in the uk as not many left, so Im still in the process of putting together my own dream brumby outback into plans(only) in paint shop pro and a long wish list, this could only possible happen if i ever get to Oz, i will post any progress of dream list/pic when they are finished. if ever, Long live the Brumby

theres a guy near where i work that has one in good condition i see it every morning wouldnt mind looking closer at it. I to think if subaru re-released the brumby it would be quite successful here.
