SHOW US yer bonnet scoop on L Series,
please,
T'subaru has asked me what bonnet scoops are being used on our L Series bonnets for either show or real TMIC underneath. As I have not got any intercoler, got no scoop, but sure many of youse have, care to show our US member what you got or tell what you used. The STi scoops were wider an higher than std WRX in most series weren't they? I supose measurements are also helpful

Cool looking Brumby, need some effects on the rear of sorts to balance out the front end. I was going to go with an sti scoop but I would have to section it to fit within the contour of my L hood.Green_eyed_liberty wrote:im in the process of fitting a GT Forester scoop to my Brumby, will post pics when i can
(i know its not an L series but you get the idea)
not mine, but thought it would show the 04 sti scoop on the older model

Top old crashed car is a Mitsi Cordia scoop
Most the way down the page on the new car is a Holden Rodeo Ute scoop, but I have doubled the height by folding the bonnet steel to make supports for the scoop to attach to.

A scoop of a GU Patrol is what I got on mine. I have a WRX TMIC under mine, and while it is slightly narrower than the TMIC it should still give plenty of air flow. You can still probably get them new from Nissan.

Only thing that comes close is an RS scoop blended into a L bonnet - lots of stuffing around though

lol - not that many L series Rally cars out there. Its a big scoop but, nothing subtle about it. You don't want to be less than 5'10" or you won't see over it -T'subaru wrote:That looks Cool! Ive been thru your build thread, that and the videos, nicest L rally car ive seen:)

Patrol scoop looks best (i may be a little biased)
Not a great fan of the WRX scoop but the Forester one isnt too bad
