Check these out, found them while i had bugger all to do, it seems however they only make them for the quad light version and the earily round light series, wish they made them for the twin lights, alas

They would probably be ok if they were white, but blue?

I agree with d_g above

Correct me if i am wrong but Hilux Lense are very close to Subaru MY Single sealed beam lights? I was told this ages ago but never chased it down.

That's correct they are the same, see image of Scooby I have 'uprated' from the originals to the ones you can see in the image - they are not 'halo' versions though. These 'modern' standard clear front lamps do improve the given light and retain (UK) legal 55/60 watt bulbs.
Note missing wiper arms - removed for painting

I bought these via ebay and were listed as the Toyota hilux units you refer to.

Halo's were an option if you really wanted them !

Agreed. They'd make a nice compliment to the parking lights, like these ones:

I'd steer clear of the cheaper headlight assemblies that are around- they tend to leak, fog up and go yellow after a while. Raybrig make the best headlight assemblies, if you were serious about a good headlight upgrade these combined with a good quality Philips globe would leave the old yellow sealed beams for dead.

As Giles has mentioned, 7x5 headlamps are very common on many japanese cars, as well as Hilux/Navara/Rodeo/Triton etc.

Interesting about the 7x5 lights...

The halo's would be ok in white but definatly not ok in blue :)
