STI gearbox
[img][/IMG]Just haveing a look at the motor and box that I'm putting in my Brumby and noticed the auto box has a STI logo on the side of it. Dose that mean anything or are all these boxes marked STI? This is out of a 1991 RS GT liberty.
If you get the serial number, i'm sure someone will be able to tell you what the box came out of.

I had a gearbox (with engine) that had the same thing on it.. didn't see any difference in it and it came from a JDM GT Foz. It went into a WRX without any issues.. just needed to match the rear diff to the ratios.

velocityboy.. if you google the number (should start with TZ...) on the sticker next to where the starter motor, you should find some good info on it
