MY wagon rear seat

Post by Cliff R » Sat May 28, 2011 12:34 pm

Anyone out there with an early 80's EA81 MY wagon that have a rear seat that actually folds down flat.
Mine looks like there is no way it could and it does not have a strap like the L series rear seat does to hold the back section down.

i could be wrong but as far as my L series goes there is no strap to hold the back section down. i just fold the base of the seat forward against the back of front seats then the back supports fold down and lay flat onto the base....if that makes any sense because i think i just confused myself...

if you fish around near the centre seatbelts you will find a strap that seemingly does nothing. pull on it and the seat base will tilt forward and then the back will fold down completely.

thats how it was in My 1982 wagon.

If yours is a touring wagon . It wont lay flat. Only the standard one piece rears( non split fold ) went flat .
