Not sure if this gives enough detail

See the economy difference between an EA82T in a sedan compared to same engine in a hardtop?
Yes, you can. How can such a difference be there? A misprint? or AWD? Vorts weigh about 1090kg
As for price comparo - a VL Commodore SL Turbo was $19,701, stretching to the Calais at above $28k
Cordia Turbo $22,301

There was a time where I was running my '90 mpfi turbo wagon, awd and 4eat 300 miles round trip daily to work, and checking the mpg each morning when filling up I was hitting 29.8 mpg. After a catastrophic water loss incident I picked up the '89 rx to do the same commute and hit the same mpg with the 5 speed awd trans. Speeds varied from 50 to 75 mph and the trip each way was at least 2.5 hours. I was, at that time, pretty happy with the mpg's considering the age of the cars.
'86 GL, '89 RX, '89 XT6, '90 T'sunami Wagon
What is a 1.8 GTI 4 door 5 fi?

I think have found the low fuel light does not illuminate when level is low - 52.70 litres with 528km on the trip meter. The little cough on boost may be an alternate to low fuel light
That is smack on 10 litres per hundred km, without any speedometer measuring errors. Actually, car was not full before the 528km as sort of ran out of funds as it neared full, so economy is a smidge better The fuel used was a mix of 6 litres of Vortex 95 and whatever Shell dispensed as V-Power.
The Vortex 95 was 149.9, the V-Power 157.9 and the top up a few days later was Vortex 98 @ 152.9
Also being mindful to avoid eny ethanol blend
Vortex for the Vortex- as long as I don't trick self and use Vortex Diesel - seen it cripple a non-Diesel Lexus a few weeks back
That was with mixed driving, mixed speeds , hey, it was my first tankful, first drive on the 5MT 4WD VorT
