Forum upgrades
hey just popping in again, dunno if this is possible or too much like facebook, but it would be good if there was like a notification bar that tells you if someone has replyed after your comment. Because me personally in my 18 years of old age haha seem to forget that I posted something asking/replying to someone and don't review the post til the next time I spot it and it clicks, just a thought
Cheers,
Dann

Dann, In your user control panel (CP) you can set it to have an email sent to you when ever there is a new post since your last visit to alert you to a reply. This means that there may be more replies but there is at least one for you to view and maybe reply toDann wrote:hey just popping in again, dunno if this is possible or too much like facebook, but it would be good if there was like a notification bar that tells you if someone has replyed after your comment. Just being new to this site and will have my first Subaru ( brumby ) next weekend i have found this site to be very informative. the layout is a typical template used for most forums that start out and i find it easy to use and would only give it a small tidy up as far as live chat goes i have been on some sites with chat and you will be making a bigger work load for the moderators and personally didn't enjoy using it as some people just went to far.
Keep up the good work and Thank You

^ I don't think we should go the facebook or live chat route.... For example if people are talking about a problem (Subaru related) and the solution or ideas are said on there than no one will be able to see it once the chat/s close. Atleast when theres threads, posts and topics its there for future reference...
Just my 2 cents worth

Update ...
Sorry for the 'thread dig', but with a possible software upgrade in the pipeline I can see some of the items listed here previously have still not been fixed. Will endeavour to address them in the next round of updates ...
