Yeah.
Why, is it not subtle enough?

After stuffing around for the last 9 or so years I finally have a pair of working spot lights on a Subaru. I first started to fit them on the MY, never fitted any wiring and when I sold its bullbar I put them on the L series with no wiring attached either.
After my question a while ago asking how to wire up spotties on a Subaru and receiving lots of info I bit the bullet and did it.
I plan do a write up soon explaining how to do it by description only, ie, which wire/colour to use for the switch, off which relay behind the fuse box, and which wire to use on the right hand headlight for the high beam switch to relay.
This will be based on my 1992 build L series but wire colours may differ depending on what year a car was built.
Hope someone finds it useful and I hope to be able to do this today.

if using words only think it may help to say old school thinking is just to tap into the hot wire, Subie school is to use both pos and neg of switched item tapped into for relay 85 and 86

Not sure if its like this in other states but here its a big craze:)
More and more you see cars, most of the time mum's wagons with the little family stickers on the bag that shows what their family consist of....

So i decided i'd have a go to let every other motor driver out there the status of my family:p

Will upload pic soon. having issues, lol

Yes, I hate those stickers lol!
I prefer the sticker that says "f**k your family".
but it's a little bit harsh :)

Knowing Apple, you probably cannot change that ...

Mine says "Sent from my Batphone" ...

But I prefer to use "real" keyboards, even though my Batphone has got a "real" keyboard, as well as the "touchy feely screen thingy". At least the predictive text works pretty well with Blackberrys. Lousy on SWMBO's Nokia; good on my old Motorola ...

BTW, you have to sign up (pay money ... ) here if you want to make more than about 5 posts!

Previously:
1993 Impreza 5MT, aka Roo1, traded in on Roo2 in Dec 2011 at nearly 18 y.o. and 234K Kms.
And a dreaded Camry that had seriously expensive oil leaks, traded in on RonnyRoo June 2012 at 18 y.o. and 168K Kms.

SWMBO & I have each driven more than a million miles, so far ...

Brumby Kid, it was very simple. I purchased a Hella switch from Amazon. I think it came from Canada. Very simple, all instructions came with it. Just pulled the insrument cluster back to reveal wiper wiring. Only one wire to cut. Mounted the switch in the little free plastic area under the ignition. Works fantastic, and a real bonus in light rain.
