If you just want a 4 speed box send me a PM and i can probably help ya. I'm in Newcastle though so you're up for a drive or some freight. The other thing to do would be put a 5 speed L series in it - a little more work but it would pay off in the long run...

as someone who went the L Series 5 speed conversion in a 17 hour marathon - 11am Saturday to 4.00 am Sunday in 2005 - I say go do it - well worth it

+2 for the "L" series 5 speed, recently when we were putting a new engine into my vortex, I was lent a stock brumby. (my brumby is a 5 speed AWD) Out on the freeway I kept trying to put the brumby into 5th, as all I could hear was the engine revving hard in 4th. It is amazing the difference in fuel economy from that one extra gear.

The above thread goes into great detail in doing the swap.

Know where you were @ with that 4 speeder Julian, doin' the same now - even the shift feels more ...agricultural

So when you go for the 5 speed there is some reading to do, questions to ask, prep etc and best if you get all the bits from one donor - flywheel to rear diff, consider what clutch you have now, small mod to the pedal box (peddle box for some :) ) use L clutch cable, MY pedal
