Help needed trying to find some wheel nuts

Hey Guys

I really need some help trying to find some wheel nuts to fit my sedan. I bought some cheap sunraysia style wheels (I think) from a brumby but I cannot find any nuts here in Gladstone. They are the sort which goes inside the wheel and I only have the original tapered nuts which don't fit.

if anyone know where I can get some that would be great.

cheers

Thanks for getting back, here is a picture of the wheel. I bought some like that from autobarn but the shaft is too long, the original nuts i have there is no shaft at all (I hope this makes sense)

M12 , 1.25 pitch for L and Brumby.

Yours are still only pressed steel rims not alloys? It is usuallonly alloys that need the longer shaft inside nut, sounds and looks like you need non capped nut to fit no standard length wheel stud? If you wanna try the original nuts with the cap I think you can knock the cap out with a punch in a vice, blow 'em out from inside out if you get what I mean

Yeah they are the steel rims. The original nuts are tapered, I don't think there is a cap??

cheers

I have a full set 16off of longer nuts + 1 spare. wouldn't be hard to rub the rust off with a buff.
1 photo of nuts on wheel other photo with STD nut.

Mate, I didn't save the sellers particulars but they were something like this. Mine went on my brumby which has performance wheels. Just choose a reputable one on ebay and check out his feedback, then I just sent an email and told him what I was after. I think the only query from him was whether I required the angled recessed version which is pictured here, and yea away ya go. They are good quality and I was really pleased with them. The old nuts were a bit different but flaking and rusted on the edges. I just kept a couple of the better ones for emergency application. I don't even keep old emails so I will keep looking but it was a seller just like this in aussieland.

Thanks for all your help guys, I saw an L series on the way home with the same wheels, parked up and checked them out. It looks like he was using just the standard tapered nuts so I will give it a go.

Anyway my situation has changed and I could really do with a ute so it's gotta be a Brumby. Anyone selling one or interested in a deal for my sedan as we have 4 cars and I'm not allowed any more :(

I know this pain mate!!!

That little snippet of the rim you've shown looks to me like it's been run for a little while with some loose wheel nuts - I'd know as I've got a set of rims that look the same in the shed, you just have to do them up nice and tight then check them again 5mins down the road - they'll all behave after the second check ;)

Cheers
