forester final drive ratio ?

Does anyone happen to know the final drive ratio of the 2000 model forester 5 speed dual range box?

Probably 4.111:1 - but this could depend on the engine type too - EJ20 or EJ25. I'll let someone in the know comment on that one. But the 4.111:1 is my guess.

There should be a silver sticker on the back of the rear diff to tell you ;)

2000 SF Forester D/R should be EJ20 and like Bennie said, most likely a 4.11 ratio. There is a little sticker on the LH side of the gearbox, just near the starter motor, that starts with something like TY752......
