forester final drive ratio ?

Does anyone happen to know the final drive ratio of the 2000 model forester 5 speed dual range box?

Probably 4.111:1 - but this could depend on the engine type too - EJ20 or EJ25. I'll let someone in the know comment on that one. But the 4.111:1 is my guess.

There should be a silver sticker on the back of the rear diff to tell you

2000 SF Forester D/R should be EJ20 and like Bennie said, most likely a 4.11 ratio. There is a little sticker on the LH side of the gearbox, just near the starter motor, that starts with something like TY752......

If you could give us this number, we can let you know for sure.
