Get your thinking caps on...

Ok, a bit of silly trivia for you to have a go at.

I'm going to leave this for a week or two and see what you guys come up with.

Thoughts on what this might be?:

It's not quite finished, but it's headed in the right direction for what I want to use it for ;)

Start of a snorkel? The elliptical end looks kinda like L series air intake.

an exhaust system with greater ground clearance made out of horse fence rail so you will need a heat proof gloss white to keep your horsies under control :D

Does exhaust travel straight down a round pipe or in a spiral ? Would a system made up of oval shape change note or affext flow ?

Looks like something to do with the exhaust to me, I see enough exhaust components at work. Although I've never seen oval to round before...what are you up to Bennie :p

it could either be a join pipe for a new y pipe into one large bore exhaust or a snorkel tip.

Hard to say when it looks to be make from mild steel exhaust pipe.

or Bennie has decided to make his own ethanol.

Yep I'd say Snorkle as well... :)
To me the give away is a bit of blue paint from shoving onto air intake + groove in round end for securing flexi pipe ... ;)

Been thinking about this

In order of probability and based Scooby-Roo's (or the Brumby?) needs...

1. A 'fully sic bro' exhaust tip

2. A flux capacitor (as mentioned)

3. Part of a moonshine still (as mentioned)

4. Snorkel (as mentioned)

5. Air cleaner mod for the EA81 - ?weber carb with the OME filter +/- CAI

This is what I thought when I first saw it, then figured I wasn't looking at a commonwhore mod.

This is what I'd put (small) money on.

I'd say those are markings from a paint pen, not rub marks, but I'd say spot on for the flexi pipe ridge.
Reckon snorkle.

Hehehe... some great ideas in here. I've had a good laugh at some of them!

Should I let the cat out of the bag? I'm thinking a week could be too much let alone two!

Cheers

Cow bell?

By the looks of that flange, its going to have another ring come down on top with long bolts to clamp it to something.

You will just have to tell us Bennie
