I'm starting to look into detailing. I want try out a claybar. My car isn't always garaged, so some sealant and wax. I've heard that Poorboys is good, and that Bowdens Own is Australian, also that Meguiars is overpriced.
If you guys have tried these I'd like to know

Bowdens Own IS Australian, the guy came to an Autobarn when i was there, showed me all the gear. Good stuff, i think.
Wash, Fine cut cleaner, Wax.
NuFinish is supposedly good.

Cheers Cam

Depends on your paint condition too. My red (respray over fifteen years ago by a painter complete with long runs!) goes to crap in six weeks until I hit it with EagleOne ? wax stuff by Valvoline mother company, before was using NuFinish twice to get shine I get with E1.
Bowdens is a Buderim family, check out their father David - a stockmarket genius - saved a few arses in market crash of the 80's after the market closed in the east - he dealt with Perth :D

Cheers,
Looks like Adam's is just an American company in AU wrap. Bowden's looks the goods.

I worked as a HD detailer in the Pilbara for a year so I know more about cleaning than finishes... But here's my $0.02

But a mix of hydrocloric acid/sulfuric acid solution is ideal for removing all brake and red dust/ bore water mess, though be careful with it on stainless steel and alloys. Use lots of water and a light scrub. Never allow to dry on the paint.

Windex when sprayed liberally into roof/door/seat/floor carpets then buffed lightly will remove all grease, dirt/blood or other mess from the them. :)

We also used Citrus Green up north and it was a fantastic light duty soap and it had a wax solution in it too as a "conditioner" to the "shampoo" Best applied with a soft headed broom and lots of water.
