MY tailgate trim - Japan stocks depleted

Post by steptoe » Thu May 23, 2013 3:34 pm

and I know where the last three in the world might be.

Just how much would you be prepared to pay ? for one in genuine wrapper, and guesses under 100 plus GST won't count :(

This is the chrome trim strip that tops the tail gate on 84 - 92/4 RHD Brumbies

Second that. Chasing one to suit a '91 Brumby!

... How much? I might be able to find $101 sitting around for the good cause?! (My ute) ;)

Not withstanding most prices of genuine subaru parts and strange boners? I do know that "EX Japan" is just that ... expensive ...

I got a price a while ago from a wrecker in Perth for a used set in crap condition of 200 dollars. I would imagine the new rear section alone, would be around that before postage :(

Just be sure to superglue it down as well as bolting it when I get one... Just to keep it safe in carparks. ;)

My little bros, the lucky bugga has a new one on his Brumby. I should have taken it when it was at my house ;).

Well, I got to physically inspect the said item to find as i cut the sealed bag and unwrap the foam packaging, a beautiful shiny, unmarked, pristine example :) agh..something was not right.....not nearly 1300mm long as the tailgate trim is , zinc spring clips to hold trim to body ?? These turned out to be the roof section of same line of tray trims - not the most battered section of a Brumby. False declaration :(

Gotta love the "sold but you might like" suggestions - red knickers with lace trim with "trim" being the common theme :D

Aren't those suggestions based off of what you've looked at before?

Funny you say that, but looks like it uses like words - this time "trim" was the common theme :D

A former neighbour found some sexy gear amongst her now former husbands belongings and thought WOW!, her birthday came and went...... still there..... THEN they disappeared!
Then she sussed out he had a new interest in his life, 'nother woman
