Hey Everyone,
With the brumby now running well I am looking to tweak a few things. We have done a fair bit to increase the breathing capability of the engine. Webber Carb, ported heads, custom exhaust etc. However the air filter that came with the carb is tiny. A very small surface area to suck air from.
So with a EA81 and webber carb does anyone know of any larger filters they would recommend?

How about something like this:

Would look pretty neat if you get it right! And the stock air filter should be more than enough for the weber in terms of breathing.
Here's the link to the build

I did this for a standard EA81 carb

The oval holes go all the way around the filters wall and are all the same size, that is, the size of the main, original intake tube. Takes a while to cut all the holes out but the standard element is used and if Bennies mod is also carried out this would give the max surface area for air to be drawn in.
