bonded glass removal

Post by steptoe » Sun Aug 04, 2013 9:17 am

After struggling with a few windows - broke the Vortex screen at he beginning of the process instead of the near the nd so happy with that:) Wondered if I could use my multi tool thingo - bit like The Renovator - as seen on TV! Or the original Fein, vibratory tool on tempered glass ???

Then a flashback years ago recall seeing a glass guy with this same concept of tool and cutter doing just that!
Anyone done same or struggled in other ways to remove glass before disposing of the body ?

Ive seen this one in action on quite a few occasions at the wreckers here

kinda like a cheese cutter on steroids

then there is this one

which would require a little more patience
