Okay guys, i may be going crazy. But last week i was driving and sware to god i saw a 7 seater Gen3 outback. I myself have an 01 gen3 outback, so i always checkout the other gen3's.
Driving past and i'm fairly sure i saw an outback with 3 rows of car seats and had 2 kids in the boot, facing the front (with headrests).
I've googled 7 seater outback and can't find a thing. So now i don't know if my eyes are playing up on me, its some sort of modification or anyone know/heard of a 7 seater outback?

I know there's a 7 seater version of the current Liberty, like a luxury people carrier. Maybe Fuji made an earlier model? Jap import perhaps?

There are aftermarket dicky seats available. I know some one who had a set fitted to his Gen3 Liberty back in 2000, came with seatbelts, headrests, all ADR approved.

Quite common to see to in falcon and commodore wagons.

You can get an additional 2 seats in the back in a gen 3. Pretty sure they use the same bolt holes that the cargo barriers use or something like that.
