Everybody with an "L", "MY" or brumby :)

Thats a great price even with US $150 on shipping (guesstimate) it would be a bargain.

There is a weber and an "MY" manifold as well

Just goes to show the difference in prices between countries. Especially interesting since "Brats" and their parts would be far scarcer over there

They sold a heap of turbo charged models with the rear disc brakes, not like our meagre 2000 (most likely way less) or so... And with over 90 000 Brats sold in the US I do not think they are truly scarce... Although the snow/salt states would have gotten rid of a lot of them!

The "L" coupe, the "L" sedan and the vortex also came with the "rare" disc rear end :) it was probably an option on the "L" wagon as well.

I know they sold alot of them in the USA as well.

$250 is NOT a great price. They won't sell at that price unless someone very silly comes along.

$125-150 is about the going rate.

The current going rate in Australia for a rear disc set up from the wreckers is $700 dollars, I cant be bothered trying to find the thread, but that price was posted on this board less than 2 weeks ago. Hence me saying it was a good price.

If I asked the seller in America if he wanted to sell for less than the price he has the set up going for, I bet he would say nope. I believe it would be difficult enough to get him to post to Australia for that matter.

If I had the money and he was willing to post to Australia, I would pay the price he is asking. so I must be silly :) (goes without saying)

ok so another set for sale USMB http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/top ... try1188711

someone has offered 160 dollars with no reply.

the original thread link has been moved for the 250 dollar read discs to this link

It would have to be cheaper then giving the drums an birthday for me to bite. Cant say Ive ever been let down by them yet. Got 4 disc's in the vortex and they certainly are superior, lots more feel. Wagon still stops when I stomp on the brakes. Only problem I have is when yellow MY's park in front of me ;).

A set went on ebay not long ago from Adelaide for something like $500-$600 wasn't it? there was a bidding war in the last day or two, got a little crazy. $700 is getting crazy high, too high for me. I'm planning on upgrading my master/booster to Lib or Impreza and fitting braided lines on my car with the std drums and see what difference that makes.

Thanks bro.. happy to help out. Will be sad to see it sold but I understand what you need for working on the property. Which I haven't seen any posted pics yet??

I'd like to see where you can get them for this price? I could sell them everyday for $300 a set of rears. You could probably buy the 2WD for this price.

You leave yourself wide open for me on this one Jules... You with me on this one Bennie?

And you don't use a handbrake !!

But I'll let you off because you helped out
