A little more of an update.

After a mammoth road trip to adelaide and back. 7 hours one way...
I've got the car home.

Its definately got panel damage which i knew, but got a few panel beaters and working going to help me out with that. Front right tyre has a hole in it and id say a tie rod is bent, getting that fixed tomorrow.

Havent had much of a look yet as i got back late, but the inside is immaculate, last service was 144km its now got 150,000 on it. Engine bay is also extremely tidy.
Already got a 3" exhaust, alpine cd player. Will start it tomorrow and give it a run once the front end is done.

Looking good so far :)

I'll post some more pics etc when the car is off the trailer and front end fixed so its drivable

Sounds promising!

How much are you able to work on it yourself? Great way to keep the costs way down...

Another mini update. Got a locksmith over in adelaide to cut me a key, do immobiliser etc as it had no key. The car battery was almost dead flat while they were doing the key and the immobiliser codes didnt hold, easy fix locally. Apart from that. I can start the car, runs fine, just cuts out after 2-3 secs when the immobiliser cuts in.
Runs & sounds great!

Im going to get a mate at work to give me a hand, gonna buy new replacement panels to save a heap of work, so it will be just fitting the new panels and preparing any panels that still need work, then a respray. The rest i can handle.

Getting pumped :)

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
