Racewars - any go last weekend?

Post by Spin » Thu Apr 17, 2014 12:49 am

Did anyone go to Racewars last weekend at Wyalkatchem in WA?
A 1990 Subaru Legacy ran 281.27km/h in 19.4sec! Came 5th overall and 1st in class.

Thats Justin's car from rslibertyclub.org - came 2nd overall last year and its a wagon :)

He has done all the work on it himself - including all the custom engine work, inlet manifolds etc.

Not really - all I know is it has been sleeved and is a 2.5 or bigger maybe. There is nothing fancy or expensive except for the inlet manifold which is a one-off and took lots of experimentation.

Yeah but Justin got to 280 in only 1000metres - not 1000miles :)

Yeah but he had to back off after that, I had a whole autobahn to hold it flat out on.

Yep, I was showing that crap stock set up was only good for 250. 280 must be up around 7000 rpm
