sign of a true Brumby fan

see if this works - joined photobucket, since the other crowd brought in fees
first attempt .....

Image

it worked !!

the makings of a bedside clock, powered up by an old sealed lead acid battery, 1 Amp fuse for safety.
the bedside table actually works like a sound chamber and when things go quiet can hear the precision tick - every second !

Awesome! I have a spare Brumby clock but I don't think it works. I got it to replace my current one which also doesn't work.
I showed my wife this and she didn't seem too keen!

No way for me that tick would keep me awake, I can't even have a wall clock in the kitchen as the tick is just at a frequency I can hear even though I'm partially deaf:twisted:

I hope you're going to clean it Steptoe!!
So what's next?
A table lamp made with a Subie headlight and rotary on/low/high switch?
Maybe a Subaru grille headboard??
A windscreen washer bidet? lol

Straight out of the shed this morning - another monkey on my shoulder task nearing completion. Needs a good dust don't it ?

Think it needs a little box - dust proofing, a power socket at the back or underneath dare i drill a hole in my self made cabinet,
and a short time shifter .

Already has battery back-up :)

I have been impressed as to just how long these clocks remain accurate to the time pips - months ! A far cry from the L Series digit things

Just to the left out of view is already a motion sensor for the bedside lamp - something you can't buy just yet. Got some Series 1 L windscreen pissers, and the bottle and enough wiring ....bidet squirters eh - better wash the Bars Bugs out first - though the bidet attachment would detract from the Telecom logo glued to the bowls insides

Clearly you don't know how to sort these out... a bit of solder here, a little bit there and they're as good as gold.

I've never had one drop or gain time!

Cheers
