Tire changing

Post by Gazza01 » Sun Oct 26, 2014 9:15 am

I bought a tire changer from Supercheap. Bolted it to a concrete slab and started my first tire change. Got the inner side in no probs, BUT get the outside in no chance. Used WD40 to spray the bead but couldn't get it in. Went to Youtube but still no luck. It seems to me that the bar that Supercheap have supplied with this $80.00 machine is not up to doing the job OR I need to keep practicing on old tires. I'm not gonna give up till I get it right. Any u guys out there used these Supercheap tire changers with any success.

Just a tip, never use WD40 or any type of oil based lubricant, always use soapy water as it dries without leaving an oily residue, you could end up spinning your wheel in your rim.

What model is the changer?
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
