Brumby Tie Rod Boots.

Post by Gazza01 » Wed Oct 29, 2014 9:56 am

I'm going to purchase two Tie Rod Boots. I see they mention Right and Left on Ebay. I'm at a loss to see any difference between the Right tie rod boot and the Left . Anyone out there got ant info.

Are these the ones that go next to the steering rack - bit like CV boots? If so I bought some generic ones a couple of years back and one split pretty quick with no off-roading. The other one looks pretty tired too. I replaced the split one with a Repco one and it felt way better quality.
No difference between left and right.

Cheers

David

I'm onto the 2nd pair of replacement CV boots in 18 months & no idea why the previous pair split. hopefully this latest set will hold. In saying that the boots (Gaitors) look nearly identical to the fork gaitors on my 1969 T120R Triumph Bonneville. I suppose I should measure & compare- you never know
