Well a GC8 is <2000, definitely not 02-07 for starters...
but I would not think they would be similar.
Most places I have contacted make different spacers for L series and EJ series (imprezas, etc), so I'd suggest you check with others.
Also, I've often had my "L series" confused with a "Liberty", though I'd expect better than that from Paranoid.

"leone" is technically the older ones, pre-85 i think, but it gets used for the sedan.
I find at SCA if they look under Subaru "GL" it gets results.
have a ring around, someone will be able to help :-)

"Leone" can refer to many different models of car, there are at least 3 generations of Leone that I know of. First starting in the 70's but I doubt you'd see any of those part numbers at SCA. Then there was the MY shaped generation, front end like a Brumby but in sedan form 2 or 4 door up to 1984. Then from 84' onwards there was the L series shaped Leone in 4 door sedan form. There were 2 door coupe versions of this but not in Australia.

So if they sell you parts made for a Leone from after 1984, it will most likely fit your L series wagon. Just some parts are different relating to the sedans being 2WD not 4WD. Important if you are swapping suspension parts; L series and MY series front shocks are NOT interchangeable without drilling things. L series has 3 bolts up top, MY only has 2. As for your question about Impreza stuff fitting an L series, I would have no idea I've never laid eyes on Impreza stuff. I wouldn't have thought it would fit but Impreza struts are 3 bolts up top I think so maybe they are right.

Someone should really make a pic showing all the different models of Leone in one shot, explaining their differences. This confusion happens far too often.
Will it ever end!?
-EA81 TWIN CARB!!!!
-L series 5 speed
-Custom paint job
-2" lift
-Full custom re-wire
-L series front end
