To anyone following the Mighty car mods Gramps build: Did you catch this at the end of the last episode?
As Marty drives his 370Whp turbo'd EZ36 Liberty wagon out of the dyno tune you catch a glimpse of someone else's project in the driveway:
To anyone who hasn't seen it I would recommend watching this series of videos (now 14 parts!) where they convert a "gramps" spec Liberty wagon into an 11 second weapon.

Should have used a Brumby. I have actually seen a Brumby with a H6 swap.

From rising sun?? That H6 wasn't the best example of a well built engine from Subaru. I'd like to see a brumby with a later model H6 in it with the radiator(s) still up front. Dunno that you'd be able to keep AWD though
SB - that's a sweet looking brumby you've spotted! I must admit I like the mcm boys and the stuff they do but I dropped off watching their vids when our Internet wasn't running so well - I haven't gone back since then really

I have the picture saved, I must have seen it on an American forum or something.
It had a huge lift so there was lots of room above the engine. It has been scrapped now though.

Looks like the blue one which had 12" body lift and black flairs. Ran a ER27. That car ended up being parted out and there are photos of the body going to the scrap heap somewhere on this internet thing.
Rising Sun built two H6 Brumby's that I know of. I've seen both. A white one with an ER27 and 3" body lift and a EG33 lowered with 5 stud swap. I believe the EG33 was Steve's sons car.
Personally I would prefer an H4 in a Brumby, already enough weight hanging over those front wheels...

Spot on!
The red was an absolute beast on the road - I did some of the wiring on it and I still think it around in shed somewhere
The white one was a Frankinsubie - off road, was a weapon, at Beachport one Easter went where only the motorbikes and ATVs dared to go. Ran straight LPG too. It blew CVs regularly (but Steve could change them
in no time)

I nearly bought Steves white brumby years back. It was a hoot to drive.
