flash hi-beam from stalk
flash hi-beam from stalk
Hi,
its been a while since my last brumby but now have number 4 to work on. While looking at the lack of self cancel on the indicators I was a little surprised to notice that if I flick up the indicator stalk to flash the high beam this only works while the headlight switch is on.
I had thought that this worked at ANY time and did not need the headlight switch to be on. Is my fourth brumby faulty (unique) or is it normal for the MY series for the HI-Beam FLASH to require the headlights to be on already?
Regards,
Peter.

Well,
have brumby #5 (Aug 1992) now, as #4 (1991) was just too much work, every where I looked there were things bodged or broken, to the point I did not even want to start the motor any more, put a car cover over it so I could avoid even looking at it.
This 1992 brumby has high beam flash that works at any time, no need for keys in the ign or to have the headlights on so this is how I remember it being on my earlier cars. The other bonus with 1992 is that H4 lights are part of the package on them.
Long live Brumby #5 (Bradley)
