These would be awesome but they're not cheap, getting parts like bearings might be interesting & with the straight cut gears, he says its not good to drive over about 50-60kmh.
But they would be BRILLIANT offroad, have a 1.2 reduction, give great ground clearance under suspension components & give 4-5" lift without changing CV angles.

I'd love a set - but:
They stick the tyre out WAY too far outside the guard. Even with a set of flares these things would look ridiculous! I doubt you'd be able to get a set of rims with the correct offset to put the wheel/tyre over the portal hubs.
I also don't like the idea of being restricted to ~60kmph due to noise of the straight cut gears.
Awesome idea though! And would love to see a set in person. You buying Nachaluva??

So someone finally did it. Would be a lot of fun but still totally limited by locking diffs and suspension travel.
