Hey WayneO, nice shiny radiator! Where's it from and what did it cost if you don't mind me asking!

I've gone the stock N13 rad option, can't remember if it's single or dual core... Easy to fit once you've fabricated the lower mounts like Tambox mentioned.

Doug, I'll see your challenge - some day. Then you'll have to come see mine with your stock wheels

Cheers

Bennie

Hell yeah Bennie, same goes if your this side of the rock. Pretty sure Ruby's new GB will negate any loss from gearing so It may actually be a close one. Lets just say stock wheels arnt all I got up my sleeve ;).

No Drama's WayneO. I just purchased a house so pretty much the poorest man in the world now :(. At least playing fallout is cheap!

Regards

Doug

El-Freddo I thought you had some kind of mental triple core radiator, did you change it at some point?

Heya Bennie,

Yeah radiator is a two core 40mm http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-40MM-For ... Sw8d9UxyJ6 cost $175.75 plus postage, cheap as chips for a quality radiator.

Cheers

So the radiator sill will probably need some modifying to get that radiator to sit in place, as you were saying the other radiator (liberty?) is zip tied into place.

Nice radiator though. :)

Success,

the two core radiator along with the genuine Subaru coolant (recommended by Paul) has nailed the overheating problem, also had the twin Davis craig thermos mounted on a bracket in front of the radiator pushing in.

I was heading back from the beach at Wagoe on a 36 degree day and a mild tail wind in fairly soft sand for 8km's and my gauge went up to a maximum of 95 degrees (yeee haaaa).

That's one problem solved now, time to concentrate on other issues now, like front shocks ( http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181694033009 ... EBIDX%3AIT ), bushes, steering rack, bearings, alternator, brakes, ball joints, clutch, uni's, rear diff and rear c.v's, all to be completed within 4 weeks.

Other additions to be completed within that time include an under bonnet ARB Compressor with bull bar fittings http://shop.snakeracing.com.au/arb-air- ... -on-board/ , an Optima gold top 750CCA / 55ah battery (subject to fitting) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221298905634 ... EBIDX%3AIT , not sure if I am going to fit an awning just yet but might be on the cards later.

Have just fitted the second light bar, a ridge rider roof basket and hard wired my dual battery (ArkPak 715 http://www.arkcorp.com.au/p/3231/arkpak-715 ) with a 105ah AGM battery, dc to dc charger) and dual isolated led battery monitors.

Should be a weapon when finished.

Nice lightbars!

I don't know if you're still thinking of a bonnet scopp but that will make cooling less efficient by increasing under bonnet air pressure. The trick is to reduce the pressure, like with vents you see on the Rex.

Nice to see Paul got you onto genuine coolant, it really is the best for our unique engines, even if it isn't cheap.
